In Hannover we stayed at Queens Hotel -- near the Tiergarten [deer garden] and on the #5 tram line to downtown!

On our first day Klara showed us the town -- Hannover is primarily a business city, but, if you do find yourself there for a day or two, there is plenty to see and do -- specially if it's Christmas Market time! The summary list: 2 city halls, 2 churches and a wonderful museum.
